Each community has them. They are always there, usually working hard behind the scenes. They are the ones that bring our communities together. The CRD's UpFront newsletter will now feature a regular Hometown Hero column, profiling those people in our communities throughout the Cariboo Regional District that make a difference in our lives with the special things they do.
To nominate someone, please email the following to communications@cariboord.bc.ca:
(i) a brief description (approx. 250 words) stating why a person is deserving of being a "Hometown Hero"
(ii) a head / shoulders photo
Once the info. is received, the CRD will review the applications and make a selection. All applications are held onto for consideration for future newsletters. For additional information check out http://www.cariboord.bc.ca/WhatsNew/HometownHeroes.aspx
